The Huawei Nova 12i runs on Harmony OS with EMUI 14 as its user interface. The device features a sleek build with dimensions of 163.3 x 74.7 x 8.4 mm and weighs 199 grams. It supports dual SIMs (Nano-SIM, dual standby) and is available in Green, Black, and White color options.

In terms of network compatibility, the Nova 12i supports multiple frequency bands. For 2G, both SIM1 and SIM2 are compatible with GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. The 3G bands include HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100, while for 4G, it supports a wide range of LTE bands including 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 18, 19, 26, 34, 38, 39, 40, and 41.
