The Apple iPhone Fold is expected to run on iOS 18, bringing Apple’s latest features and ecosystem support. While the dimensions and weight have not yet been disclosed, the phone will support eSIM (Nano-SIM) and come in various color options.

In terms of network compatibility, the iPhone Fold will support a wide range of bands including 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900), 3G (HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1700(AWS) / 1900 / 2100), 4G LTE, and 5G (SA/NSA/Sub6), ensuring robust connectivity across the globe.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an Octa-Core CPU, paired with the Apple A20 chipset (3 nm) and Apple GPU, promising top-tier performance and efficiency.

The iPhone Fold will feature a stunning 7.8-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with 1 billion colors and a resolution of 1920 x 2713 pixels (~428 PPI). Protection is provided by Ceramic Shield glass (2024 generation). Additionally, it includes a 5.49-inch cover display with a resolution of 1422 x 2088, ideal for quick tasks when folded.

In terms of memory, the phone will offer 256GB of built-in storage along with 12GB of RAM. However, there is no support for external memory cards.

For photography, the iPhone Fold will come equipped with a dual rear camera system, featuring a 50 MP primary sensor and LED flash. It supports HDR (photo/panorama) and video recording. The front camera will be 12 MP, designed for sharp selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6/7 (tri-band), Bluetooth v5.3 with A2DP and LE, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, and QZSS support, USB Type-C 2.0 with DisplayPort, and NFC. It supports data connectivity across 2G, 3G, 4G LTE, 5G, and EV-DO Rev.A (3.1 Mbps).

Audio is delivered through a speakerphone, and the device supports iMessage, SMS (threaded view), MMS, email, and push email. It comes preloaded with games, and more can be downloaded.

The phone has a glass front and back (both Corning-made), an aluminum frame, and is IP68 dust/water resistant (up to 6 meters for 30 minutes). It also supports Apple Pay (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX certified).

Powering the device is a non-removable 4700 mAh Li-ion battery with fast charging support.

As for pricing, the expected retail price in Pakistan is Rs. 579,999, while the USD price is yet to be announced.
