The Huawei Nova 12 SE runs on Harmony OS with the EMUI 14 user interface. It has a sleek design with dimensions of 162.4 x 75.5 x 7.4 mm and weighs around 186 grams. The phone supports dual SIM functionality (Nano-SIM, dual standby) and is available in Green and Black colors.

In terms of network support, it offers extensive frequency compatibility: for 2G, it supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 on both SIM1 and SIM2; for 3G, it includes HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100; and for 4G LTE, it supports multiple bands including 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 18, 19, 26, 34, 38, 39, 40, and 41.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by an Octa-core processor (4 x 2.4 GHz Cortex-A73 + 4 x 1.9 GHz Cortex-A53), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G (6 nm) chipset, and an Adreno 610 GPU for handling graphics.

The device features a large 6.7-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen that supports 1 billion colors and multitouch, offering a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels (~395 PPI) with a 90Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals.

For storage, the Nova 12 SE comes with 256GB of built-in storage and 8GB of RAM, but it does not support microSD card expansion.

Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. For audio, it includes a loudspeaker for hands-free calls.

The Huawei Nova 12 SE also features HTML5 browsing, support for SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail, and IM, and comes with built-in and downloadable games. Other features include a torch, photo/video editor, and document editor, though it does not include Google Play Services.
