The Xiaomi Poco Pad runs on Android 14 OS with the HyperOS user interface. It features a slim build, measuring 280 x 181.9 x 7.5 mm and weighing 571 grams. This tablet does not support cellular connectivity and is available in three colors: Dark Gray, Blue, and Green.

In terms of performance, the Poco Pad is powered by an octa-core CPU with 4 cores running at 2.40 GHz Cortex-A78 and 4 cores at 1.95 GHz Cortex-A55, supported by a Qualcomm SM7435-AB Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset (built on a 4nm process). For graphics, it uses an Adreno 710 GPU. The display is a 12.1-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen offering a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels (~249 PPI) with features such as 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and 600 nits brightness, along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The tablet is available with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and UFS 2.2 technology for faster data transfer. Additionally, it supports expandable storage via a dedicated microSDXC slot. For cameras, the Poco Pad has an 8 MP rear camera with HDR and video recording at 1080p@30fps, and an 8 MP front-facing camera with similar video recording capabilities.

For connectivity, the Poco Pad supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/a/6 with dual-band and Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C 2.0. However, it lacks NFC and FM radio. It also includes various sensors such as an accelerometer, gyro, and proximity sensor (for accessories). Audio capabilities are enhanced with a 3.5mm headphone jack, Hi-Res audio support (24-bit/192kHz), and stereo speakers (four in total). The tablet supports HTML5 browsing and various messaging options, including SMS, MMS, Email, and Push Mail. It also has built-in and downloadable games, a torch feature, and stylus support with a magnetic attachment.

The Poco Pad is powered by a 10,000 mAh non-removable battery, which supports fast charging at 33W via PD3.0 and QC3+.
